I'm painting my walls a dark brown and a light brown and wanted to know if I put the dark paint color on the wall with the window if it will make the room darker.

Adding any dark paint color to a room, even an accent wall, could make the room darker. Putting your dark brown on the same wall as a window will minimize this effect.

This wall is a good choice for your accent color. Plus the dark browns appearance will be a more true color without the color changing effects of the sunlight.

IF YOU ARE PAINTING YOUR ROOM IT IS BETTER TO PAINT WITH LIGHT COLORS. AND THE WINDOWS WITH DARK COLOR.YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SELECT LIGHT COLORS FOR YOUR BED ROOMS. THEN ONLY IT WILL PROVIDE CALM ATMOSPHERE AND YOUR ROOM WILL LOOK WIDER AND MORE SPACIOUS.
