Sealing interior basement masonry.

by Gretch from Des Moines, Iowa

I live in an older home that I want to seal the masonry in order to do some finish work in the basement and keep water out. The walls have been painted by previous owners with latex paint--- is there a special way to handle this in order to do an affective sealing of the masonry?

Check for the website of a company called DryLock. These products have been available for years and are intended for your specific need.
