Can you paint the outside of your house if the temperatures at night & most of the day is below freezing. My painter is trying to get me to let him paint the house, but I think it is too cold in north Ga. right now. It has been very wet & very cold. I want to wait until it doesn't go to freezing at night & is at least 50 degrees during the day. What do I do.

Painting in this cold weather could ruin your paint job. When paint freezes it looses its adhesion and becomes very brittle even powdery. What could have been a lasting paint job end up failing in a few months.
Wail until the weather is better, warmer and dryer.
