I live in Houston, Tx and sustained damage from the hurricane. I am having the interior of my house painted. Is this a good time of the year to have my house painted. I was told it was best to wait until it is warmer. Please advise.

The best time to paint anything, inside or out, is during the warmer months. When it's warmer the paint dries faster and it's easier to ventilate. But, as long as the interior is kept at a warm temperature there is no problem painting during the winter months. High humidity will slow down the curing and hardening of paint but this is only an inconvenience.
