Does crown molding all have to be the same color in a home?

Can molding be all the same color or can it be different throughout the home?

I don't think so.
It's a matter of taste too, really. I like having different moods and atmospheres in my house. I'd adjust the molding to the room, if necessary.
The most important is, that the whole of your room and your home makes some sense, in feeling terms. If it's your logic-felt rule to have a different kinds of rooms, that's logic too. This logic would be broken by having overall the same flooring material, and that would be less beautiful. Am I making sense? I hope so...
