• Restoring a redwood house. - Our redwood house has been oiled with shingle oil for 40 years and is turning black. We can rub the boards with a dry cloth and the black comes off. What can we finish it with that will not turn dark? Can this house ever be painted?
• Solid stain (color redwood) would like to go brown. - Our house is a cedar home and is solid stain color redwood. Would like to go dark brown. Would we need to strip or would the dark brown cover the red? We were told it has not been sealed or stained in over 10 years.. its pretty dry
