Can I use an exterior latex paint over an oil based exteroir primer?

Using an exterior latex paint. Will this be OK over an oil base primer?

Yes, oil based wood primers can be painted over with either oil based paints or acrylic (water based) paints. The only problem you might run into is the high humidity in your area. This will slow down the curing or drying of the primer. It could take an extra couple of days before you can apply some paint.
